This video was part of an online assignment for college students who attended my PsycINFO training sessions. It allowed me to use an active learning approach in my instruction. The students watched the video, experimented with PsycINFO, then asked questions. They learned by doing, and I was their guide.

I used Markdown to create this README in collaboration with a teammate in the Good Docs Project. The Good Docs Project is an international community of documentation enthusiasts who build best practice templates and sample documentation in GitLab for open source software developers.

PROCEDURE FOR FACULTY OUTREACH

As a librarian, I was responsible for outreach to new faculty. Every November, I sent a message introducing library services to faculty who would begin teaching at the college during Winter Term. I developed and then simplified this procedure to maximize efficiency while still meeting faculty needs. I documented all steps, including file naming decisions.
